Lessons
At Meadow Creek Farm we pride ourselves on teaching creative and fun lessons that challenge and stimulate students of all ages while instilling the skills they need to become well rounded horse people.
We believe that becoming a horse person is much more than just learning to ride. Therefore every student is required to learn to groom and tack up their own lesson mount.
Students will begin by taking a series of 1/2 hour private lessons until they are able to safely control their mount. Once students have achieved this goal, they can continue with private lessons or, we can place them in a group with other students at a similar level so they can experience the challenges and benefits of group lessons.
Arriving 30 minutes earlier provides you with an opporunity to groom and tack up your horse so your lesson can begin on time.
Beginner students should come with a shoe with a little heel. A school riding helmet will be provided if the student does not have one already. Your instructor can provide information on where you can purchase these necessities.
Winter lessons will be held off-site at an indoor facility 10 minutes away. Utilizing this location allows us greater scheduling flexibility during the winter months.

**Cancellation Policy:
Please note that all lessons require a 24 hr notice per our cancellation policy. A $20 charge will apply.
